I am back! AND I LOVE HONGKONG

Sorrie has been back for awhile but didnt update. was bz slacking and unpacking and adjusting to the darn humidity here in singapore. and oh yar. sorry too if i confused anyone on my date of arrival. wanted to be SWEET and give cj a big SUrPriSe by appearing in singapore when i was supposed to be in china. but then... ... ... he was expressionless when he saw me =(

anyway i love hongkong!! travelling alone is quite cool actually you know!! i get to wake up as and when i want. go to as and where i want. stop and shop at as and where i want. its uber cool. the only bad thing is i cant snap alot of pictures. i paiseh take out the camera and snap at myself. =x

first day there. you cant imagine the kind of excitment when i see hongkong. its a tad like singapore. but sth is just very different. its a diff kind of vibe that you dont get here in singapore. and i super embrace embrace it.. i love hongkong!!!!!! and i love canto! its such a gentle and cool language. i wanna learnn!! =) =)

my first day was cool. although it spelt some impending doom for me on the forth day.... i almost died getting all my luggages from the bus drop-off to my hostel. and thats without all the shopping yet to be done for the next 3 days!!! =x

dragon hostel!!

My single room!!!! its soooo smalll!!!! haha the smallest room i see in my life thus far. i was trying so hard to squeeze to one corner so as to take a more wholistic picture. But theres all i need there, AIRCON, tv, free phone...

the common area

and the walk way!

Actually theres alot of nice places, interesting happenings along the way.. but i kinda forget already. i brought back with me the photos that i took of the food i had. kinda no regrets la huh. i ate everything on my MUST-TRY list.

yippie!! i had this for my breakfast on the third morning!!! the second day i had sandwich from 7-11 coz i didnt dare to walk into the chacengting.

very nice congee with youtiao and soyabean milk. slurps. cost me 30hkd though!!

the third nite i finally got to one of the most famous dessert stall -SHIMO- in hk and tried almond sesame paste. uber nice again! oh yar in the afternoon i had steam-milk at YISHUNNUINAI. it was uberly yummilicous too. must try must try!!

the forth morning! I had wanton mee!! was looking for the famous stall at soy street but must cut thru ladies street and i dont like the place, so just made do somewhere near my hostel. wah.. look at the wanton! jsut look at it...!!!

ZOOMED in. the wanton has 4 prawns inside. and one bowl of wanton mee has 4 wantons. meaning there were 16 prawns in a bowl of wanton mee.. =)=)
the pork inside is just used to stick the prawns together.. haha

drool drool drool.

After that i decided to have one last dessert and i was looking out for something more healthy so i went insearch of GUILINGGAO. they have it there in some old and tiny shops all over the streets. so i went in..
the guilinggao is really guilinggao!!! it taste nothing like the ones in singapore! i swear!! got some herbal smell one.. and it doesnt taste any bit like chinchow!!

YOU SEE YOU SEE!!! its heavenly..!!!
i remember giving the auntie 20 hkd, thinking it must be ard 10 hkd or so ( i didnt check the price before going in), in the end it turned out to be 27hkd!!! more expensive than my 16prawns wanton mee. but its worth it! thumbs up! must try!

I still tried the BOLUO bao there I remember the mother from the long-winded show "zhenqin" likes to eat that.. taste good. and and... EGG TARTS!!! its heavenly. i seriously wanted to dabao the eggtarts home... omg one regret!! hmm go try the egg tart at central, along willington road near some blahblah terrace place. anyway this is not a foodie blog but if anyone happens to chance upon my blog and wanna know the exact location of the yummilicious food i tried ALONE in hongkong, feel free to drop me a message. on one condition, help me dabao some eggtarts home (kidding!=p)
what else did i try? ehs oh the cold noodle thingy in agryle centre.. nice and cheap but not filling. and jidanbing along the road. taste like waffles in singapore but alot more crispy n VERY-THE-VERY DELICIOUS.

food there is yummiliciois but expensive. huge damage to my wallet and fatal to my diet. all that food in 3 1/2 day. not forgetting i tried all the laopobing from diff outlets before deciding on which to buy back.

i love hongkong~ but gotta home sweet home!

my lil bear that accompanied throughout my hk trip =)

SUper blue sky~~~ met a nice uncle on the plane and we chatted for 3 hours on the plane!! him telling me how he set up his business and blahblah.
just received a msg from him. he got some pens samples from europe that is very unique and he would like to gimme~~ so swweeet!!!

i miss hongkong a tad. but i love singapore more. because.. because my darling is here w me. =)
