Inner Mongolia

I have been back for quite awhile.
The past few days have been some shopping insanity again. cj is right, i am gonna shop down the whole china in 5 months time =p
Dorothy and Yanping left today. And for the first time, i am left all to myself in beijing.
Was quite reluctant to go for dinner by myself just now, but extreme hunger left me with no other choices.

~However, the moment i stepped out of the hostel, i was enveloped by this sudden inexplicable sense of tranquiliy. The breeze, the evening sky, the feeling of being carefreely alone, i found myself humming happily to myself- embraced it =)

The inner mongolia trip! Well, it was a mix of everything- disappointment, surprises etc. Firstly, the bus journey to and fro is way too long and torturous. And the problem is, it was stated in the tour phamplet that it takes only 4-5 hours to get to IM, but in actual fact, it takes a min of 8 hours. And the coach has seats with practically no leg room. >-<" of course there are pleasent surprises too, i actually saw Junqing ( Jean's boyfren) and mat there! our horses galloped pass each other, thats how qiao it was. hehs got to see grassland and desert for the very first time in my life toos. Day 1 - Grassland
me and yanping
on the long and torturous
busride acting happy. =x

yesh. this is the grassland. as it
still aint the prime season,
theres actually.. hmm no grass,
so nothing that spectacular about
the grassland. the only
interesting things
ard are the mongolian
tent.

And this is it! The mongolian tent we
stay in! kinda cool
huh.

Anyway we went in a very big group.
15 of us in total. The GIP people
and some china frens that
came along. And of course Dorothy
and yanping.
Anyways the trip only cost us 520rmb,
excluding the rides and cable car
though.

This is the interior of
the tent.
Can squeeze 6-10.
Looks cozy but the place
is too cold
to feel that way

Dorothy
and
i.
Cold
till
cannot
=p

After reaching,
We had lunch there..
The kind of food we had is basically alot of
vege dishes and mutton.

Stinky mutton. hehs.
=x-=x

More stinky mutton..

The fun part came when we took
our horse ride. I nv ride on an unattended
horse before!! And the
horses really galloped. So for the first
10 minutes i was basically
just shrieking my way on the horse.
This is my first horse. really sweet. and run real
fast.
And do you know horses have their

own clique too? throughout
the whole ride, my horse were following Siquan's and
Dorothy's.
Anyways this is my 2nd horse, more tame and really
sweet toos.
Couldnt take alot of pictures. its not v steady on
the horses.

Anyway, the horses brought us to a patch with
alot of cute baby sheeps!! or are
they lamb? or goat? =x
Hee i just know they are 羊

See!! there are
really cute.. so pls dont eat them..

we had some snacks there,
made from goat/sheep/lamb
Had some milk tea too..

this is some milk thingy..
quite nice..

Hee me. outside the tent
Look fat bah. The place was so
FREAKING COLD
that i had to rent this thick coat
and wear it on top of another one

And oh did i tell u theres alot of cute guys on
the trip with us?? =p
this is Eric from US. and some cute koreans
toos. heehs =x

Hees! Day 2 will be up soon.
